A Haunting at Holkham

In January 1950, Lady Anne Coke returns to Holkham Hall after a family tragedy. Her grandfather has died under mysterious circumstances, found at the bottom of the stairs with a valuable piece of jewellery in his pocket. As no clear cause of death emerges, whispers of foul play and a ghostly presence in the house circulate. Anne, who had a close bond with her grandfather during the war, is determined to uncover the truth behind his death. The story also reflects on her childhood experiences during World War II, including her difficult relationship with a deceitful governess.
