This picture book encourages children to stand up for what is right, inspired by real events surrounding the toppling of a statue of slave trader Edward Colston during an anti-racism protest in Bristol on 7 June 2020. Co-author Jen Reid participated in the protest and climbed onto the empty plinth to raise her fist, a moment that gained global attention. On 15 July, a statue of Jen by Marc Quinn was installed on the plinth, symbolising empowerment and resistance. The book aims to inspire young readers to understand the importance of standing against injustice.
