The Fallout

A baby goes missing from her pram in Reykjavik, and when the child's blanket washes up on the beach alongside her murdered mother, panic ensues. Eleven years later, detective Huldar and child psychologist Freyja are now colleagues but struggle to keep their personal relationship separate from their work. When a dismembered body is discovered in a deserted car, their professional boundaries are tested further. As they investigate the murder, Freyja faces accusations of misconduct, and Huldar must decide whether to support her while uncovering secrets linked to both the past and the current case.
