Dead of Night

In Berlin during January 1940, Germany has conquered Poland and the Nazi Party's control is absolute. One night, an SS doctor and his wife return home, but by morning, the doctor is found dead in a pool of blood. While authorities want to label it a suicide, Criminal Inspector Horst Schenke discovers evidence suggesting it is a carefully staged murder. As he delves into the case, Schenke uncovers dark secrets that threaten to expose the true nature of power in Nazi Germany and puts his own life in jeopardy.
