Carnival of the Lost

Sheba, a wolf girl, joins a troupe of performers that includes Pyewacket the witch’s imp, Gigantus the giant, and Sister Moon, a knife thrower. She finds friendship and learns about stagecraft in an unusual carnival setting. However, children are mysteriously disappearing into the Thames, and sightings of a mechanical monster raise concerns. The troupe decides to investigate the disappearances, determined to uncover the truth behind these strange occurrences. This book features black and white illustrations by Sam Usher and is the first in a new series.
